Manns Make Lemonade out of Lemons

This blog was courtesy of Judy Mann.....these are her words:

"I just heard on the news today that Seattle hasn’t received any rain this month. I know why—we got all of it here. We’ve had 10.5” of rain since June 1 with threatening skies again. Wednesday evening we received 3 to 4” of rain in our neighborhood so the boys being boys got the little boat out and took their kids boating in our fields and pastures. Tony and Sharon might recognize some of the land marks in the pictures. The creek is in the pasture east and south of Cory’s house and the big lake is north across the road from us."

"Not too happy!!!!"

"Water has not been in this creek for at least 25 years. Tony, I think some of your prairie dogs were probably drowned."

"This was a field of sugar beets. Notice the sprinkler system in the background."

Thank you, Manns, for providing us with this entertaining post. If anyone else wants to send a story and pictures for me to put on the blog, please do so.
