Easter Plans

Thanks to all who responded with their Easter plans. Cousins names are printed in bold large print.
I have been told by my oldest son that I was a little overbearing in trying to get this information! Maybe next time I want information, I'll only send the request one time.

Larry & Judy and Jean & Maxine are invited to Cory & Sherry's for Easter dinner. Most of Sherry's family will be there also.




Sharon is hosting Easter Brunch and an Easter Egg Hunt for close-by relatives.....Count them - Twenty-One

Dick's son Michael - Hey there! I will be in Denver during Easter weekend going to the 1st three Rockies games in Denver!

Dick's daughter Kelly is going to be doing her college thesis!


(from Dee) Jary and I are celebrating Passover with our Messanic congregation at the Downtown Embassy Suites in Omaha on Saturday, April 11. Our granddaughter, Olivia, will be going with us as she has attended with us the past few years. There will be over 300 in attendance this year. Olivia will spend the night with us, and then attend Easter services at her church with her family. Jen & Tom will go to their church's services, and we'll go over to their house in the afternoon to see the children.

Ray - (from Judi) Dani and Jack are going to church with his family (sister) and then over to her house for brunch. Late afternoon they are coming over here for the traditional ham, potatoes and deviled eggs. That's about it for our family. It is not supposed to be a nice weekend weather wise.

Don - (from Verlene) We don't have a lot of plans for Easter. The little grandkids are in S.D. so won't get to see them. Don, Scott & I will have breakfast (hopefully Don is cooking), and then we go to Denver to visit a friend in a nursing home. Perhaps if Walt's girlfriend is back from London, or even if she is not, we will stop to see them and Geoff. (Poor Geoff has to work at 3:00 at the Sub shop.) Then Back to Longmont to visit our neighbor friend who is in the hospital.

Bill's son Tom works on Easter so has no plans....except to plan his trip to Los Angeles, and look for a roofer for his home. Mabye get together with guys and break out the bokens. A boken is a wooden samuri sword, unlike a shinai it has no padding and or give. We busted out kendo sticks one time. That was fun. It's been awhile sense I had my boken out so hopefull I won't get cracked in the head!

Bill's daughter Karla has no plans...her husband Toshi will arrive back from Los Angeles on Easter Sunday.

Lynelle - I spent last weekend in Ann Arbor MI visiting Elizabeth and her fiance' Burke. She is nearing the completion of her MFA so I got to hear her reading on Friday night. Her birthday is this Saturday, so we did a little pre-birthday stuff. This weekend I am traveling the opposite direction to Minnestoa to spend Easter with Andrew. Andrew is a junior at Macalester College in St. Paul MN. I feel really lucky to get to visit two of the three family offspring over this holiday period. Happy Easter to all!

Janice - No plans for Easter but will be flying out to Seattle soon for a week's stay with Brian and Meghann to attend the baby shower for Meghann.


P.S. When I sent out the request to find out what everyone was doing for Easter....this was the response from my granddaughter (Dennis' oldest) Cally..............."ummm.... I don't know. You haven't told me yet..." :-)
