2000 Reunion and 60th Anniversary - Alliance NE

Ken and Harriet's 60th Anniversary party was held in Alliance on Saturday, July 29, 2000.  Friday night there was a no host dinner at the Country Club.  Saturday we had a Steph from Steph's Studio in the park for family pictures and lunch;  then there was a reception at the Methodist Church and a dinner in the park.

As always, double click on the pictures for a better view.  I have written names on some of the pictures for more clarity.

Here are a few of the posed pictures for the photographer:
Back row:  Jim, Sharon, Tony, Ken, Ray, Judi, Paul, Colleen, Dick, Bill
Front row:  Kathi, Harriet, Cindy, Janet

Back row ~ Bill, Dick, Paul, Jim
Front row ~ Ray, Ken, Sharon, Harriet

Back row ~ Scott, Leanne, Dani
Front row ~ Ethan, Ray, Judi, Ruby Jo

Karla and Tom standing
Bill and Janet seated

Brittany and Nick, standing
Jim, Cody, Kathi, seated

Dennis, Jeanna, Cally and Casey

This is a picture of all the Phillip family and extended family, plus a few friends.  I have tried to put everyone's name on the picture.  I believe the ? mark is a nephew of Sherry (Cory's wife).  Cally is holding a certificate ~ some school project to see if you could be in a summer event with the most people.  Amazing how ten years will change the looks of a group of people, particularly the young ones.

There were a lot of cake pictures at this reunion.  It was Cally's birthday, close to Sister Elma's birthday, and of course ~ the 60th anniversary cake.

Cally opening presents and cards on her birthday at the shelter house with Kathi, Hayley, and Casey in the picture also.

Four of Ken and Harriet's grandsons from four of their son's families ~
Geoffrey (Paul's), Tom (Bill's), Michael (Dick's) and Nick (Jim's)
Janice is seated in front next to Randy

Casey was assigned to help people in the door (he's doing a great job here)

These four were assigned to the guest table ~ Casey, Cody, Brittany and Cally

Here are some candid snapshots:  Maxine, Janet, Karla, Luci (a friend), and Ken

Tony, the unofficial designated photographer with Jeanna standing beside him.

Larry Mann taking a break in the park

Paul sitting all alone and finding something amusing.

A lot of people standing around while the festivities were going on in the city park.

Ken, Sister Elma, Zetta, Leo with Harriet to the right of the picture (all helping Sister Elma to the shelter house).

A lot of the attendees watching as the photograph session was in progress.

More onlookers during the photo session.

A fun picture of Harriet and Ken as the photographer was taking their picture.

Ken again aiding Sister Elma with Kathi's help.

Hayley (Paul's daughter) and Ruby Jo (Ray's sgranddaughter)

Because it was Cally's birthday, and because she was born during our first Phillip reunion in Pullman, Wa, she gave a short speech at this reunion/anniversary party.

Three of Ken and Harriet's granddaughters ~ Brittany (Jim's), Kelly (Dick's), and Karla (Tom's)
